Sgt. Christopher Long (1746-1829) and his wife, Sarah (Turner) Long, are buried in Liberty Township.  He served with General George Washington at Valley Forge and for three Virginia counties:  Culpeper, Botecourt, and Henry.

This man was born in Pennsylvania in 1802, moved to Ohio in 1810 with his family and then to Liberty Township in 1820.  In 1824, he returned to Ohio and married Catharine Rose.  They returned to Liberty Township, settling on Flat Rock south of Ashland and raised 12 children.  In 1865, he moved to Grant County, Indiana.  Who is this man?
