The Henry County Genealogy Alliance is a sub-membership of the Henry County Historical Society focused on preserving and sharing family history. There are four levels of HCGA:
Bronze: $75 annually
Silver: $100 once
Gold: $200 once
Platinum: $500 once
Each level includes a 1-year HCHS membership and admission to an annual genealogy webinar hosted by Kaye Ford, AG®. The Bronze level allocates $50 of your donation toward digitization costs. Visit here to join!
The Silver, Gold, and Platinum levels also include digitization of a certain amount of your family photos/documents (Silver = 10; Gold = 20; and Platinum = 50). You will be recognized as a donor (if you want), and your digitized family history items will be shared on our website with a discreet watermark. These levels are a one-time payment. You may donate more than once, of course, or continue at the Bronze level or even the Individual level of membership, which is $25 annually.
If you choose Silver, Gold, or Platinum, you may pay online or at HCHS with a check; download, print, and complete the proper application; and then arrange a time to visit us at HCHS so that we may digitize those items or add them to the queue. We strive to digitize your items within 1 month of our appointment.
Your contribution goes toward the costs associated with digitization management, including cloud storage, web hosting, and the content management system (CMS). Twenty-five dollars ($25) is always directed toward the HCHS general fund with 100% of the remaining amount being directed toward digitization.
